Gambling History in the US
Historical gambling:
Gambling is not only about money, it is also about other things like for example to toss a coin to see who kicks first and even rolling a die to determine who is going to inherit, (and this is still legal). Even it is used a lottery for the draft. For a wide period of time, casinos have been illegal in the US, but gambling is a part in the American history and it is a very important economical fact.
Casinos in the US:
It is not clear which was the first gambling premises in the history, but it is among the Ancient east or the Nile Delta, but when it comes to US it was far later when the first casino opened doors for business. It is arguable and not 100% assured data, but it seems that the first casino in the US was Brown’s Saloon located on the cross of Utah, Colorado and Wyoming and started its business in 1822. In the very moment it started its business it became a big success and more casinos opened doors along the whole territory.
Las Vegas is the place where more casinos are opened nowadays, but they legalized casino gambling in 1931 and the first casino to open was The El Rancho Vegas Hotel-Casino and it wasn’t till 1941 when they started business, long time has passed and lots of casinos have followed the steps of this pioneer.

But now, technology is everywhere and lots of pastimes which were played on tables or boards are now played online, and as every business in the world, it was inevitable that it bounced to the internet. Internet is nowadays full of online casinos, because it is a very big business and they offer much better service than land based casinos. Since the creation of this software, online casinos have spread like wildfire across the internet and nowadays we can find them in every virtual corner and with more games to be added everyday.
